Sessions two mornings a week at ELF Woods, Rogate, West Sussex.
Who can come to sessions?
Sessions are for children aged 2 to 12 years, with a parent or carer. Siblings of attendees less than 2 years old are able to attend with no additional cost.
What should we expect of sessions?
ELF Woods is a private wood, just outside Rogate, West Sussex. There is plenty of woodland to explore, consisting mainly conifer woodland with some additional heathland space. Sessions will follow the flow and pace of the group in attendance and, through observations, we will tailor to the needs and interests of each group. Over the course of the six weeks there will be plenty of woodland arts and crafts on offer, fire lighting, cooking, relaxing, mindfulness, den building, stories, exploring nature, playing games, ropes and climbing.
Price:
We are running at a special introductory rate for the Summer Term, 2021; £5 per family, per session.
When sessions resume in the Autumn Term, prices will be £8 per attendee, with sibling discount at £5 per sibling.
Sessions will be payable in blocks ,in advance, for a whole six weeks’ attendance. This is because Forest School works best when we have a good relationship with the group in concurrent sessions of at least 6 weeks. If sessions are cancelled by the facilitator, the session price will be refunded.
